Thinking Outside The Box Means Talking Inside It For BT

Aristotle once said, "For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.” And the Greek philosopher wasn’t wrong, experiential events are now more popular than ever because the audience believes learning through hands on experience is a worthy and valuable use of their time.

Experiential events allow companies to connect with and engage an audience on an emotional level and offer instant two way dialogue and interaction with their brand, which is not possible through other communication channels.

We are working with BT over the next couple of months on an innovative experiential roadshow, to connect the brand with existing and potential customers at six high-profile UK locations and support its new ‘Chit vs. Chat’ campaign.

Converting a 4m x 4m clear Perspex box into a full living room set-up, complete with traditional sofa, coffee table, lamp, television, potted plant and sheepskin rug, we are touring the ‘BT Living Room’ to show the benefits of using a home phone to have a proper conversation.

BT Interior LIving Room

BT wants to engage the public with the idea that, if a conversation is worth having it should be made on a landline from the comfort of their home. So in each location the passing public are invited to pop inside the ‘BT Living Room’ and make a call to anyone they like.

Using the expertise across the group, our design and build company, CuratedSpace, built the 4m x 4m Perspex cube and our stylists at Grace & Tailor designed the interior look and feel creating a nostalgic and comfortable living room scene.

The ‘BT Living Room’ tour started earlier this month at the finish of the Sport Relief race in Lands End and is moving across the country to Queen Street in Cardiff, Bath Comedy Festival, Tatton Park in Cheshire, Alton Towers Theme Park and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, so keep a look out!
