Winning Again with Leeds Metropolitan University
Following the successful event management of Leeds Met's graduation festivals and events for the previous five years, we have won a four year contract to continue managing its multifaceted event programme.
This programme will include the delivery and management of the university’s entire schedule of events, consisting of open days, local and international graduations, freshers’ festivals and UCAS fairs for the next four years.
This is a great opportunity to continue our close working relationships with one of the UK’s leading universities and develop a long-term strategy focused on creating a lasting, innovative, sustainable events programme that delivers value and quality time and time again.
Working closely with the university we are also developing a sustainable events management course and our corporate responsibility manager has been educating the students in lectures on sustainable accreditations such as BS 8901.
We also offer the university’s undergraduate students from the UK Centre for Events Management work experience and placement opportunities on projects. This support helps them achieve their placement passports by undertaking a specified amount of hours working within the industry. And, annually, we also offer opportunities to graduates to join the business.
We look forward to implementing these sustainable strategies and events and utilising our expertise across the business to bring the university’s event programme to life.
