Retailers at Westfield Stratford City Think Commercially
EcoRIG is working with a selection of retailers opening a new store at Westfield Stratford City in 2011, to ensure they maximise the creative and commercial potential of the double height windows and high ceilings.
With the launch of what will be the largest urban shopping centre in Europe, EcoRIG, the revolutionary solution for optimising vertical spaces, is working with visual merchandisers and design teams on in-store schemes for the new development as more stores take up tenancy.
Set to be the prestigious gateway to London’s Olympic Park, retailers at Westfield Stratford City are keen to introduce new design and architectural concepts and installations into their stores to enhance the customer journey and this next generation of retail space.
EcoRIG has been working with a number of retailers and their visual merchandising teams to understand the previous challenges faced at Westfield London and help them to make the most of the double height space at the new Westfield Stratford City development.
Some retailers have learnt a lesson with Westfield London and now understand the need to push creative boundaries to new heights and maximise spaces that were previously underused due to costs and time constraints.
EcoRIG has responded to this and continued to develop its range of systems to suit a variety of fixtures and applications and help in-store teams optimise a number of high level spaces, such as double height windows, atria area, escalator voids, balconies and entrances.
EcoRIG helps stores reduce operational and maintenance costs by simplifying the process of raising and lowering high level collateral, such as VM props, graphics and lighting. Using EcoRIG, in-house staff can create visually stunning retail environments both safely and simply.
The systems eliminate the need to use specialist access equipment or certified sub-contractors and reduce down times and disruption. Suspended Items can be lowered down to a safe working height to change or clean and then raised back up to the desired height, all at the touch of a button.
The current product portfolio includes:
EcoRIG Lightbox: raise and lower large scale light boxes from heights up to 8m
EcoRIG Platform: raise and lower large scale fully powered and lit cantilever shelves from heights up to 8m
EcoRIG Prop: raise and lower a fully powered single hanging point from heights up to 30m
EcoRIG Grid: raise and lower a mixture of 3D and graphic items from heights up to 8m
EcoRIG Graphic: raise and lower large scale graphics from heights up to 14m
EcoRIG Raft: raise and lower large scale fully powered ceiling feature rafts from heights up to 8m
